Concentration = vial strength divided by the bacteriostatic water added. On a U-100 syringe 100 units = 1 mL, so units = (dose divided by concentration) x 100. Values are syringe units, not milligrams. Amber values exceed 100 units, which is more than one standard 1 mL U-100 syringe holds, so that combination needs a more concentrated solution. No established dose exists for BPC-157, so this chart deliberately shows conversion factors only and does not suggest a dose. Where does BPC-157 stand with the FDA right now?
BPC-157 is not an FDA-approved drug, and it appears on the FDA’s compounding-risk information covering bulk substances that raise safety concerns for pharmacy compounding. That means no official label, no approved indication, and no sanctioned dose, so this page treats every number you enter as plain arithmetic rather than a recommendation of any kind.
My lyophilized BPC-157 is a 5 mg or 10 mg vial — how does that feed the math?
The vial’s total peptide (5 mg and 10 mg are the sizes usually sold) is the numerator and the reconstitution fluid you add is the denominator, so concentration equals mg divided by mL. The calculator then converts whatever mg figure you type, at that concentration, into U-100 syringe units. It never tells you how much to draw. I read about a small human study that used 10 mg then 20 mg intravenously — can I copy those figures?
No. That was a two-person intravenous tolerance observation, not an efficacy study and not a subcutaneous schedule. A two-subject IV safety check cannot be scaled into a self-injected amount, and those numbers should never be typed in here as a starting point. Treat them as trial history, not a template.
Some people inject BPC-157 while others use oral or topical forms — which does this cover?
The tool is only a milligram-to-units converter, so it assumes nothing about how the peptide is used. Community oral, stabilized-arginate, and topical preparations are unvalidated and have no established dosing, and a syringe-unit readout obviously does not apply to a capsule or cream.
