Concentration = vial strength divided by the bacteriostatic water added. On a U-100 syringe 100 units = 1 mL, so units = (dose divided by concentration) x 100. Values are syringe units, not milligrams. Amber values exceed 100 units, which is more than one standard 1 mL U-100 syringe holds, so that combination needs a more concentrated solution. Why does this tool treat mazdutide differently from a drug cleared where I live?
Mazdutide, a GLP-1/glucagon dual receptor agonist, is approved only in China; it has not been authorized by the FDA, MHRA, or EMA. A national approval in one jurisdiction does not by itself establish legal marketing, lawful supply, or verified product quality anywhere else. Because of that, the calculator stays limited to arithmetic — turning a milligram amount into U-100 syringe units — and takes no position on obtaining or using the compound.
Mazdutide is usually compounded in 6 mg and 10 mg vials — how does that choice change the units I draw?
The vial’s total milligrams together with the amount of diluent you add set the concentration in mg/mL; the calculator divides the milligram figure you enter by that concentration and converts the result to U-100 units. A 10 mg vial reconstituted with the same water as a 6 mg vial is more concentrated, so an identical dose draws to fewer units on the syringe.
