Concentration = vial strength divided by the bacteriostatic water added. On a U-100 syringe 100 units = 1 mL, so units = (dose divided by concentration) x 100. Values are syringe units, not milligrams. Amber values exceed 100 units, which is more than one standard 1 mL U-100 syringe holds, so that combination needs a more concentrated solution. No established dose exists for Sermorelin, so this chart deliberately shows conversion factors only and does not suggest a dose. Frequently asked questions
Isn’t Sermorelin different from other compounded peptides because it used to be FDA-approved?
Yes, and that distinction matters. Sermorelin was once marketed as Geref (FDA NDA 019863) and later discontinued, so unlike many research peptides that were never approved, it does have a genuine former approval on record. But that status is purely historical: a withdrawn approval does not validate today’s compounded Sermorelin or any anti-aging use, and there is no current FDA indication. For the math on this page it is simply treated as a labeled vial.
Will this calculator recommend a Sermorelin dose for me?
No. It only converts the milligrams you have reconstituted into U-100 syringe units, which is arithmetic, not medical advice. There is no established or FDA-approved self-administration dose for Sermorelin today, so the tool cannot and will not suggest one. Confirm any regimen with a licensed clinician before acting on it.
Which Sermorelin vial strengths can I enter here?
Compounded Sermorelin is commonly supplied as 5 mg, 10 mg, or 15 mg lyophilized vials, and you can enter any of those or a custom milligram amount. The calculator never assumes a strength for you, because compounded labeling and fill amounts vary from pharmacy to pharmacy; always read the mg figure printed on your own vial.
Does the mg-to-units math change because Sermorelin is a GHRH peptide that was historically given subcutaneously?
No. Sermorelin is a GHRH analog (GRF 1-29) with a short half-life, and in its historical use it was administered subcutaneously, but none of that affects the conversion. The tool needs only your vial’s mg and your mixing volume to display U-100 units; it does not model absorption, dosing timing, or how often anything is taken.
Is this single-ingredient math right if my vial is actually a Sermorelin blend or a DAC analog?
Only if the vial contains Sermorelin alone. This page assumes a plain Sermorelin vial. Products that stack Sermorelin with CJC-1295 or Ipamorelin, or long-acting CJC-1295 with DAC, list multiple or different actives, so their per-unit amounts differ. For those, use the concentration figures printed on that specific product’s label rather than this page.
