Arithmetic checks out. Confirm clinically, against the label, and against the actual vial before any use.
Independent check - dose mg / concentration mg/mL = volume. U-100 units = mL x 100.
Reverse: pick a dose and the units you want it to read, then calculate diluent to add.

What is Semaglutide?
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist, a synthetic peptide that mimics a gut hormone involved in blood-sugar regulation and appetite. It is the active ingredient in prescription products for type 2 diabetes and chronic weight management, and it also exists in an oral tablet form on a different dosing scale.
Is Semaglutide FDA-approved?
Yes. Semaglutide is FDA-approved as a prescription medicine for its labeled indications, and the reference figures here come from the current FDA label. That approval applies to the licensed products, not to compounded or research-grade powder sold under the same name.
How is Semaglutide given?
The licensed injectable is given subcutaneously, once weekly. Commercial pens are supplied pre-filled at a labeled concentration. Oral semaglutide is a separate product on an entirely different scale and cannot be converted to an injectable amount.
What are the known safety concerns with Semaglutide?
It is prescription-only. A critical distinction: oral semaglutide uses different dosing from the injectable and must never be converted between the two. Indication, contraindications and monitoring belong with a prescriber.
Wegovy: 0.25 mg weekly weeks 1-4, then 0.5, 1.0, 1.7; usual maintenance 2.4 mg
Commercial Wegovy is prefilled. Use only the labeled concentration or pharmacy directions.
Prescription-only; oral semaglutide uses different dosing and must not be converted with this injectable calculator.
